Norsk Folkemseum also produces exhibits outside the museum in joint projects with other institutions. Current projects are:
Exhibit on Jewish life in Norway 1851-1945 opened at Beth Hatefutsoth, Tel Aviv.
Exhibit of Norwegian folk dress and bunads at Lok Virsa, in Islamabad, Pakistan.
